Airports
The closest airport is Vigo (VGO), around 30 min from the venue – this is the easiest option if traveling within Spain.
If traveling internationally, we recommend:
Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) – approx. 1h30 drive by car/taxi, with a beautiful drive through Galicia.
Porto (OPO), Portugal – approx. 1h30 drive by car/taxi, with a scenic route along the coast and countryside.
Where to Stay
Option 1: Stay at the venue
You can avail a special rate at the Parador if you contact them directly at recepcion.baiona2@parador.es, quoting our wedding date.
Option 2: Nearby hotels
Faro de Silleiro – a unique hotel in an former lighthouse
Glamping do Mar – cabins with stunning sea views
Pazo de Mendoza – very close to the Parador
Option 3: Apartments & Airbnbs (great for families/groups)
Baiona has many lovely apartment options close to the beach and restaurants. If you’re traveling with family or friends, renting an apartment can be a great option.
August is peak season, so we recommend booking early!
How long to stay
If you’re making a weekend of it, we recommend arriving on Friday and leaving Sunday or Monday. Baiona is the perfect place to relax and explore.
